Saw the University of Bristol's new templemeads campus on Thursday, maybe it'll be ready by September, at least externally. There's a harbour-level bypass of the station going under the cheesegrater 'don't cycle when wet or icy' walk+bike bridge. If this new path works in winter and is illuminated well, it could be a good general feature.
The surface looks concrete slabs lowered into place, which gives some hope.

Just a note for AI curious: if you are active OSS maintener, as can be observed from github activity logs, and the project has 15k+ stars, you get claude max for free for six months.
Given its trained on my code *and* on pirate PDFs of my book, I think that's a good first step to make up

Modern unix workstation construction: a raspberry pi with 1 TB of NVMe. I decided if I was going to do builds on I should upgrade storage from a microSSD to something faster and reliable.
