The two Green Party candidates here need to be more clearly disowned by the Greens. The only proviso might be if the posts are very old and there is clearer evidence of working against and making amends, but that feels unlikely given ramming comment likely to be referring to a recentish event... We knew that the growth of the party under Polanski was likely to mean stuff getting missed and that this was going to be an attack vector, but when it's found something better than "no comment" is needed #UKPol

Polanski cannot hide behind "only Jewish party leader" too much - he needs to set clear idea of what is antisemitic behaviour and where that line may differ from what the law treats as "inciting" or illegal speech. We need to see clear examples of how support for Palastine can be done while also combatting antisemitism - Starmer has done so much to cement that link, but Polanski (and the rest of us) cannot challenge it if he doesn't address the antisemitism #UKPol

yo what the actual fuck, just had the nutjobs from the reform party come to my door and ask for me by my name. I always say to keep my name off of the public registry so interesting where they got it. that's one thing, the second thing, they have so much money for canvassers, leaflets and shit, unbelievable. Told them to fuck off, but should have probably engaged them a bit more in hope of changing their mind, but just was seething instead. fuck. #uk #ukpol

The UK Parliament continues to pursue an approach to online safety that doesn't work. The Australian under-16 social media ban has failed to make any difference and people have sought ways around it. There needs to be an urgent rethink on digital ID age checks. Unregulated providers sitting on a pot of highly sensitive data. What could go wrong? The problem with our dependency on Big Tech is evident in Palantir's NHS contract. Signing up to a 'subscription service' for one company's exclusive software leaves us with nothing when we end the contract.
