@rednikki It's been a minute since I've been to Foundry on Elm but their burgers were pretty good last time I went. They made a really yummy vegetarian pasta too.

@potterybyosa You seek mastery when you are focused on the product, since mastery allows you to make more and better products faster. It's not necessarily a bad thing. But when mastery wanes for a minute I find it's a good reminder that the product isn't the end-all-be-all.

@potterybyosa Wheel throwing is just hard some times. Even when I was doing it every other day I'd still get the yips and have days where I couldn't even make a basic form. Gotta be patient those days.

@mattblaze@federate.social Reminds me of the time I met John Waters. All I could say was "Hey, you're John Waters!" and he gave me a lovely Waters smile and said, "Why yes, I suppose I am", and then went back to enjoying his evening.
