Tein kaikenlaista kokeilua. Vaihdoin ikkuna-teemoja sinne tänne useaan otteeseen ja vaihdoin kaikki muut teema-asetukset randomlla. Sitten puff. Ongelma ratkesi. Aivan kuin jokin "nollaantui". Czołem! Przydałaby mi się mała #FediPomoc W FreeCAD 1.0.2 na CachyOS (KDE Plasma / KWin Wayland) program nie renderuje poprawnie. Sam interfejs powiedzmy, że jest O.K. Wszystko to odpalam na laptopie ASUS, z intelem i nvidią, do której mam zainstalowany oficjalny sterownik (na otwartym to było samo). Gdy wyłączam kartę nvidia program działa normalnie... Żeby jakoś uruchomić FreeCAD'a odpaliłem go w trybie zgodności z X11 zamiast Wayland... no i nawet to działa ale jak projekt robi się lekko zaawansowany, to często muszę odpalać manualnie. No i nie jest to wygodne w użyciu, ale nie tylko z tego powodu. Po prostu coś jest nie tak w tym trybie. Na chwilę obecną zainstalowałem AppImage i to chyba będzie działało, ale nie jestem zadowolony z tego rozwiązania, bo wyklucza aktualizacje. Jeśli ktoś z Was jest w stanie mi pomóc w tym temacie, to bardzo proszę o pomoc - no bo AppImage to ostatnie co jak mi się zdaje mogłem zrobić. #FreeCAD #Linux #Arch #CachyOS #Wayland

Porównał bym przesiadkę na Linuxa z ponowną nauką chodzenia. Niby nie musiałem tego robić, ale teraz mogę biegać. Ale żeby nie było tak pięknie, to dużo czasu trzeba poświęcić na posługiwanie się tym ekosystemem. Obecnie spotkał mnie taki problem, że FreeCAD robi jakieś dziwne rzeczy gdy stosuję wiązanie symetrii... Po ustanowieniu takiego wiązania "figura" nie wskakuje do osi symetrii dopóki jej lekko kursorem nie trące. Do tego cała świeci się na pomarańczowo i wyskakują notyfikacje o wiązaniach nadmiarowych, których nie ma prawa tam być bo to jest dopiero KWADRAT... Z pozytywów, to udało mi się wgl uruchomić ten program na dGPU Nvidia i tryb grafiki Hybrydowej w końcu działa jak powinien! No może z małym wyjątkiem, że dGPU ciągle wchodzi w stan uśpienia, żeby po 3 sekundach wyskoczyć na P5 i zapytać z już opadającą powieką: "elo mordo, nic nie robiii... *chrapanie*" Akceptuję ten stan - a może tak właśnie ma być. KDE Plasma 6.6 päivitys hajotti widget asetukset ikkunan 😅 Korjauspäivitystä odotellessa. Jos ei ihan heti tuu, rollback pitää tehdä, jos haluaa päästä säätää taas. :meow_rolling: 😂 #linux #kde #CachyOS @CachyOS@fosstodon.org

Unfortunately, my experiment with CachyOS is over, even though I gave the system a fair chance this time. First of all, I really liked CachyOS. The speed is phenomenal, and everything would have been perfect except for one tiny detail that is essential for me: Localsend didn't work. And I couldn't figure out why. I was able to install the program easily, and my computer recognized all the devices around it. Except for the devices around my computer with CachyOS on it... and it was also not possible to send files from the computer to the recognized devices or mark them as favorites. Not even a firewall was activated or anything else in the network settings as usual. With all the other distributions I usually use—Fedora, Debian, OpenSUSE, Zorin OS, FreeBSD, even a “real” Arch—there are no problems at all. And since I'm constantly sending files and photos back and forth between my smartphone and computers and don't want to be constantly plugging and unplugging cables, CachyOS is not for my everyday use. I find that very unfortunate. But it's usually little things like this that make you less happy with a distribution or Linux in general than others might be. 😧 #linux #unix #opensource #freesoftware #cachyos #fedora #debian #zorinos #arch #archlinux #freebsd #localsend

Wenn ich mir die zu updatenden und neuen Pakete ankucke, hat die Handheld-Edition von #CachyOS wohl ein fettes Update erhalten. Neben den typischen Updatezyklen wurden vor allem manche Pakete durch für CachyOS optimierte Pakete ersetzt und der Plasma-Login-Manager ist endlich da. #Linux #Gaming #LinuxGaming #SteamDeck

Väkisin sitä vertailee Debian + KDE Plasma ja CachyOS + KDE Plasmaa. Laitoin samoja juttuja ja säätöjä Debianiin, jotta se olisi mahdollisimman samanlainen kuin pääkoneeni CachyOS. Silti tässä puuttuu sitä jotakin. CachyOS on koti, johon palaa aina mielellään. Debian on kuin kävisi kaverin luona kylässä. Kyllä siellä viihtyy, mutta kotiin sitä haluaa mennä. 😂 Kyllä se CachyOS on ylivoimaisesti parempi tässä vertailussa. Kaikilla mahdollisella tavalla. 💕 #linux #CachyOS

Any seasoned #Linux users know why I keep getting these spots on my display? I can get them to go away by adjusting the resolution scale but they keep coming back. I’m using an Nvidia GPU which I figure may have something to do with it. #cachyos @CachyOS@fosstodon.org

I'm using Cachy OS Cosmic. After 5yrs of WMs, I said I'd never go back to another DE. Cosmic is OK, still a little buggy but you can have tiling without the DE getting too much in the way. Might stick with this one for a while. #CachyOS #Cosmic
