Hello Mastodon users, I'm working on migrating to a new instance since Med-Mastodon is shutting down. When I go to Account > Account Settings > Move to a Different Account, I enter my new Mastodon handle (with an "@" in front of it) and old account password, I'm getting error messages in the new handle and the password fields. I've tried resetting my password. I've tried a few times. Any ideas? Thank you in advance. #migration #Fediverse

Red-winged blackbirds and starlings have begun migrating thru in their way north. We'll see them here for a few weeks and then they'll be mostly gone. #birds #migration

#MonarchButterfly #Migration #radio #BluTags There's been an update on one Monarch that broke camp early from Mexico's El Rosario overwintering site, and it has been logged about 30 miles north of the sanctuaries. The tag number is ROS012, and has not been reported since yesterday. A couple others have also broken camp, going northbound: CHI005 and CHI007, both from the Sierra Chincua sanctuary, heading northeast. You do need to use their specific app for you to be on the lookout for these broadcasting bugs, and it's free via App Store or where ever you get your apps. The rich alway see one rule for them & another rule for the rest of us. Monaco-based migrant Jim Ratcliffe complains about immigrants in the UK, while himself being an immigrant in Monaco. But that's different because he's rich & entitled, and the migrants in Britain are just normal folk trying to survive & thus merely a problem to be resolved. Of course, its just the usual hypocrisy of the wealthy amplified by the complicit media. #migration #politics #inequality

In light of Bluesky’s myriad concerning decisions, I’m finding myself spending increasing amounts of time on Mastodon. I wonder if others feel the same. Similarly, I’m enjoying the discovery of new voices, and feel my interest in those pledging continued loyalty to Meta and/or Musk is beginning to feel strained.
