Another pick for this week's #TuneTuesday theme, #thebubble. This otherworldly early seventies classic is probably a fairly obvious choice for a Finn: Pekka Streng & Tasavallan presidentti: Sisältäni portin löysin (1970) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP1tcsVoFOU Pekka Streng (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pekka_Streng) was still a quite obscure cult figure during my teenage years in the early 1980s. I think I may have read about him in Esko Lehtonen's "Suomalaisen rockin tietosanakirja" ("The Encyclopedia of Finnish Rock") before I actually heard this record for the first time on the radio. I do remember that bought a reissue version of his second album ("Kesämaa", 1972) at the very first record fair I ever attended, at Lepakkoluola in Helsinki back in 1987. #pekkastreng #finnishmusic #progressiverock #progrock

Have been on a prog kick for the last few weeks. On my latest visit to the local record store I picked up this Genesis Live album (coupled with some Camel and King Crimson). It is pure Gabriel era energy from start to finish! #genesis #vinyl #vinylcommunity #music #progrock

so far so good...so wha...no no no, haha sorry almost did a plagiarize! anyway. this is the song so far. depending on things, the pause before the last pre-chorus might end up being a beat or so longer. Not sure how it feels yet without a vocal. (I left the ending off because there's no 3rd chorus and I'm still working on that bit) #acousticGuitar #progRock
