Old romantic cynic. Live in # Sheffield , UK. # cycling is my preferred form of transport. Long retired now, but I volunteer one day a week with a charity for people with a disability who'd like to cycle but might find a regular two-wheeler a bit tricky for whatever reason. Keep Left. Trained/educated in physics. Worked in hardware design (SystemX), research (cryogenics), software (various), and then IT - user support, training, teaching, management, writing (I wrote a textbook), quality.
