I’m not sure I’ve seen this as much white hot rage for a TV show as we’re seeing now on YouTube for #StarfleetAcademy. So-called #StarTrek fans are evidently incensed because it’s non-stop outrage over there. It’s pretty obvious they were never Trek fans to begin with but it’s still depressing as hell.

Three good things that happened today: - Someone I love is getting the help and care they need to get better - My second order of LEGOS from AliExpress arrived and I can finally finish my project - #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy has defied my preconceptions, I’m really enjoying it and the fact the bros hate it makes it even better. #ThreeGoodThings

I enjoyed the 2nd ep of #StarFleetAcademy more than the first and I like the first one a great deal. This is a good sign. Holly Hunter is doing a great job and the tone, vibe and characters feel very Trek to me. The only thing taking me out of it is the over the top production design but I’ll cut them slack since it takes place in the 32nd century. Already spotted some stuff that would make fun #WallarooApp Trek wallpapers, so that could be cool. Give it a go, you’ll prob like the series. 🖖

I’ve built Legos and now watched the premiere ep of #StarFleetAcademy. Thankfully it was better than I had anticipated. Felt WAY too Discovery in the opening act but pulled it together mostly through solid acting and like able characters. Looking forward to more. Prob play some Kirby next. Thx all!
