Fast zehn Jahre war die #Vorratsdatenspeicherung in #Deutschland ausgesetzt. Nun kommt sie zurück, weil die #Beeinträchtigung "unbescholtener Nutzer" angeblich "überschaubar" sei.

#Companies like #Microsoft, #Google and #Amazon fund large #OpenSource #projects not out of #idealism, but because they build profitable #cloudservices on top of them and pocket the money.
Small #developers who charge for their work barely stand a chance against "free". Yet thousands of hours go into these projects. The #maintainers, the people who keep these projects alive, often work unpaid until they hit #burnout.

One of my biggest #gaming pet peeves in #RPGs: #helmets, #hats, #caps and #capes.
Don't get me wrong, if the #stats are good, I'll equip them. But 99.9% of the time I will immediately hide them visually if the #game allows it.
A rogue's worn leather cap, a #thief's hood, a #warrior's iron bucket on their head... all hidden. The only exception? If an #armor piece genuinely looks stunning, we're talking a truly unique, well-designed #outfit that actually fits the #character.
A carefully designed #character face buried under generic headgear? Not on my watch. A #cape flapping around like they're auditioning for a #fantasy theatre production? Also hidden.
#Immersion is visual too.

Ich nutze ausschließlich FOSS, ausser ChatBots, da die bekannten einfach Leistungsstärker sind, für das was ich mache. Extra von openAI weg, um nachdem ich alles an skills, memories, regeln usw. Wieder angepasst/eingestellt habe, wieder zu wechseln.
Alles anderen sind leider viel zu dumm, anthropic liefert.

@Yolanda405 @kuketzblog So habe ich es auch verstanden. Für Otto-Normal wirds komplizierter, diese nutzen das ohnehin nicht, für uns ist es wohl egal. Allerdings macht es das ganze für Wechselwillige schwerer, die bleiben dann wohl dabei, weil die meisten zu bequem sind.
