Atlee and his government rebuilt the UK after the social destruction wrought by not one but two world wars. Atlee and members of his government were also instrumental in the domestic policies that kept the UK running during the blitz.
But Churchill gets all the praise, and Thatcher, who began dismantling Atlee's work, is more revered.
Does that not tell you who owns our politics?

This is now starting to look like something way bigger and more toxic than we ever wanted to imagine. Utter depravity dressed as 'intellect', scientific illiteracy dressed as supremacy.
