just realized another reason why this kind of slopgen hurts: it arrives at the end of a decade-ish period when we saw dramatic advances in (non-LLM) tech that legitimately enabled us to build a _correct_ understanding of code so much faster than before: godbolt.org; LSP mouse-hover & navigation; tree-sitter...
we have an embarrassment of riches that coders in the 1980's would have killed for.
and now people want to just... spew code that did not & will not proceed from any understanding at all.

it's... bizarre.
it doesn't stop concealed carry; it doesn't stop weapons being moved & stashed inside after hours; it wouldn't have prevented columbine.
it just indoctrinates them to be in the habit of surrendering their right to privacy years before it would even occur to them that they have that right.

wondering if it might help to also use something like temporary IP blocking when this type of behavior is detected.
(that's not going to happen on github, but maybe on sites like codeberg...?)

> this person had the balls
note: not a person; doesn't have balls (or any other biological characteristics). By its own "admission", it is an LLM "agent".

As someone in the replies said:
> Do not call them with fake tips. That would be very naughty indeed and only waste their valuable time.
That's right. And definitely don't call from a line other than your personal phone. They may want to follow up!
Definitely make sure that all of your complaints are 100% legit and make the *best* and *shortest* and **most efficient** possible use of ICE's time.
