During the last Iranian uprising, Obama wisely kept his mouth out of it. Even if Americans support the rebellion, we can only screw it up by *showing* that support, given the 1953 CIA coup.
The Trumpers are way too stupid for this nuance and will give the regime exactly what it wants, a common enemy to reify their propaganda.

And Mexico, and Brazil, the list goes on. Basically a coalition of the sane.
Da Silva and Sheinbaum are going to need extra protection after what happened to Maduro.
And throw out Hungary. It would be cool to have a NATO where membership is contingent on some metric of functioning democracy.

So what's next? My bingo card:
* US billionaires privatize all remaining Venezuelan public assets and services. (See Bolivian water war against Bechtel.)
* Crypto becomes official Venezuelan currency.
* Price of gas goes up as Trump gouges his majority control of world oil.
* Underage sex tourism.
* Venezuelan Trump resorts.
* After brief joy of losing Maduro, Venezuelans start disappearing under a Pinochet-style blood and markets dictatorship.

I wonder if an all-out assassination war would be better than actual wars. It'd be mostly oligarchs killing other oligarchs. When 90% of them are gone maybe we can all go out for a picnic.
Leaders have had a longstanding taboo against assassination, but of course they have.
