Even though the majority of people in Germany still seem to be on track of the Energiewende, there is the highest share (20%) of those who don't seem to bother, as they demand the cheapest energy. In other words: they don't give a sh*t on climate care. Fun fact: probably they don't know, they also demand renewable energy, as it's the cheapest energy, as @chrisstoecker points out.

Ich rechne bei der laufenden Bürgerbefragung viel mehr mit einer überzeugenden Ablehnung.

Die Tagesschau berichtet, dass Frontstellungen oder Rüstungsindustrie in der Ukraine mit Hilfe von Werbe-IDs in den Handys ausgespäht werden können. Auch andere sensible Orte oder Berufe wie Journalisten lassen sich so überwachen.
Bei Googles Android heißt diese Nummer Werbe-ID, auf Apple-iPhones heißt sie Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) oder kurz AdID.

Eine Partei hat massiv von bisherigen Nichtwählern profitiert: die AfD.
Ein Learning der etablierten Parteien: Nichtwähler kann man zurückgewinnen. Dazu müssen sie einen Weg finden, die Menschen anzusprechen. Für keine Partei gilt das so wie für die SPD, die trotz einiger verbliebener Regierungsbeteilungen perspektivisch vor dem Verlust der Relevanz. Sie verkommt zu einem Mehrheitsbeschaffer ohne Profil.
Ich rechne damit, dass die SPD in der BReg nun ihr Profil schärfen will. #ltwrlp26

In Deutschland sind inzwischen schon 2 Rechenzentren in Bau, die jeweils ein halbes Gigawatt an Leistung verbrennen. Das ist etwa so viel, wie ein einziges Großkraftwerk erzeugt.
Und es geht noch größer. Google plant in den USA bereits ein RZ, dass dreimal so viel Strom verbraucht. Und das quasi permanent. Tag und Nacht.
Der Wahnsinn scheint kaum noch Grenzen zu kennen.
Wer jetzt gegenhält, dass durch KI auch viel Strom gespart werden könnte, liefert bitte Beweise mit.

Freitag ist 3. Streiktag in dieser Woche
Die wiederholten Voll-Streiks im Nahverkehr sehe ich kritisch. So wie sie durchgeführt werden, drohen sie zu einem Werbeprogramm für das Autofahren, bestenfalls noch die Fahrradindustrie zu wirken. Denn die Leidtragenden sind alleine Kunden, die weit fahren müssen und kein Auto oder Fahrgemeinschaft haben. Gerade sozial schwache Gruppen sind übermäßig betroffen
Sinnvoller wäre es, wenigstens Zentrallinien für eine Grundversorgung fahren zu lassen.

Die neue Aktivrente ermöglicht es, bei kleiner Rente noch etwas hinzuzuverdienen. Das wäre besonders für Künstler und Publizisten wichtig, die oft nur sehr geringe Renten erzielen. Ausgerechnet die sind aber von der Aktivrente ausgeschlossen. Esther Yakub macht den sinnvollen Vorschlag, alle hinzuzunehmen, die über die Künstlersozialkasse beitragspflichtig sind.

Bitte nachrechnen: Benzinpreisschock ist übertrieben!
Bei 1000km/Monat zahlen Autofahrer bei Anstieg von +30 Cent gerade einmal 18€, bei +50 Cent 30€ zusätzlich pro Monat (6l/100km). Das überfordert niemanden.
Übrigens: ein eAuto kostet keinen Cent zusätzlich.

Handelblatt berichtet: Lobby-Papier von RWE setzt auf Gas und will Batteriespeicher ausgrenzen. RWE fordert Bau neuer Kraftwerke von der Bundesregierung. Damit wolle das Unternehmen die Regeln für Ausschreibungen beeinflussen, die der Staat für dieses Jahr plant. RWE schlägt nun Maßnahmen vor, die ausschließlich Gaskraftwerke bevorzugen und Batteriespeicher de facto von den Ausschreibungen ausschließen würden.

Die Ruhr-Universität Bochum ruft dringend zu Spenden für die Beschaffung von Generatoren und mobilen Stromspeichern an der Taras-Schewtschenko-Universität in Kiew auf. Diese Geräte kosten je nach Größe zwischen 600 und 1.500 Euro; sie sichern eine minimale Energieversorgung für Heizung, Strom, Beleuchtung und digitale Infrastruktur. Wir ermöglichen damit, dass der universitäre Betrieb auch unter Kriegsbedingungen weitergehen kann.

Ich möchte auf das Beiteilungsverfahren der EU zur Umsetzung von Open-Source Technologien hinweisen. Da kann von best-pratice-Strategien wie SM als Fediverse oder Softwareimplementierung in Firmen und Verwaltungen vieles eingebracht werden. Sinnvoll sind kurze, durchdachte Einträge, die zuvor in der eigenen Bubble diskutiert werden. Jetzt ist die Zeit, resilient zu werden!

@bjoernsta @hnnng Dass der Aufruf verschiedene Ebenen des Staates adressiert, ist in dem Sinne eine Krux. Aber eine Kernforderung ist doch, einen Rechtsrahmen neu zu schaffen. Und das macht sicher keinen Sinn, den auf Länderebene aufzuhängen. Schon der Medienstaatsvertrag hat ja den Geburtsfehler, das es dafür keine Institution gibt. Es müssen immer alle Länder analog arbeiten. Das wird künftig eventl nicht mehr funktionieren und damit entsteht ein Flickenteppich.

@hnnng @bjoernsta Ich finde das Projekt #SaveSocial sehr gut und sehr wichtig und richtig. Erlaubt mir ein paar Überlegungen: Mir fehlt ein wenig der Absender und Adressat: Wer ist das, der da etwas einfordert? Ist das eine dauerhafte Gruppe, gibt es eine Organisation? Die fehlt mir, um darin eine nachhaltige Initiative zu sehen. Und wer wird adressiert? Politik allgemein? Die neue BReg? Die Plattformen? Wird das Thema bei #RefoundingDemocracy2025 am Samstag dabei sein?
