@fallenhitokiri@social.screamingatmyscreen.com Rider is the standalone IDE, Resharper is the Visual Studio plugin from the same company. I would assume they use a lot of the same code? We use VS at my work, though it often seems like VSCode + plugins are what gets new features first these days.

We do use Resharper, which is also JetBrains, and it will typically not give warnings like that without suggesting improvements. I've also never had it warn me that I'm doing something expensive, so quite weird Rider would. Premature optimization is a bad idea anyway. 😛
