The grief is more tham enough to process. My mum died of cancer aged three years older than James. Dad was in hospital, from the stress, on the day of her funeral and descended into depression over the following months.
Mum was afforded all the necessary care and treatments and hospice care. There was never a fear of bankruptcy. That would have been overwhelming for Dad, and I am sure he would not have survived the following year.
What a cruel country the USA is, richest in the world.
