Pan Nawrocki zawetował SAFE bo „Dzisiejszy 18-latek, który dopiero wchodzi w dorosłe życie, będzie przez cały okres pracy zawodowej spłacał zobowiązanie zaciągnięte w jego imieniu. Dług można zaciągnąć w jeden dzień, ale spłacać go będzie całe pokolenie”

@m0bi@mastodon.com.pl Mam hipotezę, że Kaczyński robi to celowo, żeby wkurzyć Morawieckiego i jego popleczników w PiS na tyle, żeby opuścili partię i założyli własną. Potem będą tę partię po cichu wspierać, żeby mieć koalicjanta po wyborach, taką własną Trzecią Drogę.
Z tymże uważam, że to się nie uda, bo wyborcy PiSu, moim zdaniem, tak nie rozumują. Są bardziej zdyscyplinowani, ufni liderowi partii, nieufni nowinkom i eksperymentom. Partia Morawieckiego, jeśli w ogóle powstanie, nie przekroczy progu wyborczego.

Z powodu enshittifikacji Onetu (wyłączają IMAP), szukam sposobu na pobranie i zapisanie lokalnie wszystkich maili tak, żeby można je było potem odczytywać z dysku… Vivaldi chyba nie ma takiego feature'a… Podejrzewam, że inni klienci desktopowi mogą mieć takie feature'y, ale nie wiem, czy mogę na nich polegać, bo chciałbym mieć je zapisane w takim formacie, żeby można było je odczytać niezależnie od aplikacji klienta.
Będę wdzięczny za sugestie.

Musimy porozmawiać o Vivaldi
Jest jedna rzecz, która mnie irytuje. Vivaldi nie respektuje motywu systemowego na Linuksach, nawet jeśli wybierze się to w ustawianiach.
Błąd jest znany od 2024 i nikt z nim nic nie robi: https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/867850
To szczególnie irytujące, od kiedy KDE może zmieniać motyw w zależności od pory dnia. Wprawdzie Vivaldi ma podobną funkcjonalność, ale momenty przejścia z jednego motywu do drugiego nie będą w 100% spójne z tym, kiedy to robi KDE, jeśli pozwolę KDE robić to na podstawie godziny wschodu i zachodu słońca.

@sithian@c.im Wszystkie te argumenty przestaną mieć znaczenie, jeśli okaże się, że ten przeciętny użytkownik nie ma pieniędzy. Wtedy zacznie szukać alternatyw i w końcu je znajdzie. Choćby były dziurawe jak sito (tego akurat przeciętny użytkownik, niestety, nie widzi)
Zwracam uwagę na fakt, że większość aplikacji (w tym internetowe) jednak nie tworzą big techy. Np. strona mBanku jest tworzona przez mBank, a ten chce tylko, żeby ta strona działała użytkownikom, a nie żeby użytkownicy kupowali abonament na Windowsa. Jeśli użytkownicy nie będą chcieli płacić na abonament Windowsa, to mBank będzie się starał, żeby ich strona działała dobrze na słabszym sprzęcie 🤷🏻♂️

@rysiek@mstdn.social This is why I think “AI first” approaches promoted by some (many? all, nowadays?) companies are based on lack of understanding of the systems they develop. It should be opposite: algorithms first. Use AI if there’s no better deterministic algorithm to accomplish a specific task. That’s how, I guess, systems would work if engineers decided on their design more often instead of managers dictating solutions to them.

@sithian@c.im @dzwiedziu@mastodon.social Ja się szczególnie nie przejmuję tymi wzrostami cen sprzętu. Owszem, będzie drożej, ale czy przypadkiem nie jest tak, że obecnie software bardzo marnotrawi zużycie pamięci (każdego rodzaju)? Wiele aplikacji oferuje takie same feature’y jak 20 lat temu, a jakoś mają większe wymagania. Rozwiązaniem będzie optymalizacja istniejących, albo wyciągnięcie z archiwum tych starszych.
