This is AI bubble companies trying to print own money. Printing your own money only works if you find a way to make it necessary. That's what taxes do, for example (recommended reading: David Graeber's "Debt").

Here:

👉 "printing money" part is paying employees in tokens

👉 "taxes" part is requiring employees to use AI in their day to day work (thus making tokens necessary)

LOT Polish Airlines website not only cannot deal with a "+" in an e-mail address – which, in case you're not aware, is a perfectly valid character in an e-mail address – but it also just craps out at the almost last step of booking, three screens after the e-mail address is provided.

Instead of you know, catching that when the address is provided.

Heads up for any folks using @hetzner@mastodon.hetzner.social: scammers seem to be trying to exploit the recent bump in pricing by sending "unpaid invoice notification" e-mails. Easy to fall for it before morning coffee. "Update Payment Method" link obviously leads to a scam site, so not particularly hard to spot either. Be careful out there.

The difference between Kiro and regular infrastructure management tools is that the latter are deterministic. They can be tested, analyzed, and bugs can be reliably, provably fixed.

That's just not the case with agentic tools. They are by their very nature non-deterministic. And that's the last thing a systems engineer should want.
