@irgndsondepp I have a similar set-up—crDroid with Molly, using Sunup and Mozilla's push service (I'm a perfect shouldn't be the enemy of good kind of guy). I experience the same behaviour.
I haven't bothered looking into it too much so far, I'm afraid..
