@craiggrannell@mastodon.social waited about two years here between the cables being installed in the street at the end of mine (some 30m from my house or so, as the bird flies) and when I finally got the last 30m from my street to my apartment on the second floor connected (yep, it has to go an interesting way to get up here, old, old house 😅).
But when you see that lovely 2.5Gb down/1Gb up connection working, it’s so, so good a feeling 😁
