I'm all for a new nation called #Cascadia, providing it includes all of #California, not just the northern part. #BC, #Washington, #Oregon and California would be the third largest economy in the world behind China and the USA. Per capita GDP would be US$106k - USA $80k, Canada $65k, Germany $55k, Japan $50k. I don't want to be part of any alliance with current Alberta or BC separatist parties. Just to be clear, Canada's #Arctic strategy back in 2024 included plans for opening a consulate in #Greenland In fact, the consulate is already setup and operating, but sending our Governor General Mary Simon who is Inuit and our Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand to formally open the Consulate sends an important message that #Canada is moving forward on our Arctic presence and initiatives.

Food production and infrastructure failures cost consumers when they buy #groceries. Corporate control of our #farms means investors come first, not the customers. We're there now...this corporate control of our food needs to be dialed back. Avi and the #NDP can make this an issue if we give them a chance.
