I was a bit sad to see that @HennaVirkkunen@ec.social-network.europa.eu is posting less and less frequently on Mastodon. It brought so much hope to me when she arrived here.

That combined with German parliament and government using the Fediverse for coms and some government officials of the Netherlands arriving here recently.

I had a look at one of the US tech bro data harvesting algorithmic socials and there she seems to have posted four times the last 24 hours if I understand their UI correctly. #mastodon

Jag blev utsedd till ägarombud (medlemsombud) för Coop Syd fr o m 1 Maj fram till 2028. Men samtidigt fusionerar Coop Syd (ca 500 000 medlemmar) och Coop Östra (ca 1,1 miljon medlemmar). Följden blir att ägarombuden och därmed 500 000 medlemmar från Syd förlorar sin rösträtt fram till 2028, då nya ombud utses.

Coop behöver ha mindre föreningar, inte större.
Coop behöver mer medlemsinflytande, inte mindre och vara mer lokalt förankrat.

Vet inte om jag ska avsäga mig uppdraget?

I saw yesterday that apparently our President, Madame von der Leyen is totally fine with posting on US based VC owned social Bsky in addition to far right X. 🥺

But posting on the open free 🇪🇺 European Fediverse isn't possible for some reason. 😿

I struggle to understand why the EU commission is recommending people to use X. How else should the fact that the X logo is plastered all over their (our) web site be interpreted. It's a deeply irresponsible and harmful use of their power of influence.

After all that's happened and after all the pleading and campaigning by citizens. This is the kind of thing that truly makes you lose faith.

I can't even bring myself to tag them in this post. There's no point anyway.
