Journalists and news #media organizations have become very open to #technology. They automate a lot of things. And they love to use #AI. However, the industry is rather conservative and hesitant when it comes to letting AI generate #images to accompany stories and reports. There are compelling reasons for this. And I sure hope good photographers and illustrators won't be replaced anytime soon.

Die #DW muss weiter sparen. Das journalistische Angebot und die Infrastruktur werden schlechter. Als Konsequenz nimmt die Reichweite vermutlich ab.

Gleichzeitig hat sich KSM #Weimer ein schönes Budget gegönnt, die #CDU lobt öffentlich die Arbeit des Auslandsrundfunks – und einige sehen die Sparpolitik als Chance (was natürlich Quark ist).

Ich find's alles betrüblich, zumal an anderer Stelle viel Geld verschleudert wurde (auch und gerade von der Union).
