I dropped out, largely. Left the city, moved to a farm: homesteading, hunting, gathering, building, deconstructing. Now I'm trying to help move dominant culture away from self-destruction again (while continuing to feed myself from the land). Mostly focused on climate change. of course, Climate touches everything, so I'm interested in behavioural science, communication, democracy, political science, moral philosophy, science science (hehe).. Also off-grid, ebikes, and ufos/"aliens".

so, one of the objections to the concern that AI would take over the world is often that AI can't do mining or run electrical wires or whatever. Well, that may be true for a minute. But really, only for another minute.
China just demonstrated their insane robotics superiority.
they're kungfu masters today. If they can't run a wire yet, it'll be only a moment.
When do we pull the fire alarm on all the things?
