When I checked the garden yesterday afternoon, 23 of 27 garlic cloves had sprouted.

No surprise, given we had 75 degrees Fahrenheit temperature.

Lots of rain last night and today. A cold front moves through tonight, bringing below freezing temperatures. And feels like temperatures of 18 degrees Fahrenheit.

Our neighborhood paved street flooded last night from the rains. This morning all our street drains were completely covered with leaves and sticks.

I've cleared 15 street storm drains this morning on our street and 3 nearby streets by pushing aside the leaves/sticks with my boots and a long stick, moving the sticks and leaves to the easement.

With more rain forecast today, the leaves and sticks will likely plug up the storm drains.

Flooding streets again.

Ooooh!

Two of the 27 Music garlic cloves I planted last fall have sprouted.

Given our long cold winter and snow cover, I didn't expect them to sprout this early.

Last year, we had an early spring with warm weather in February. German Red garlic sprouted on March 10.

"Attorney Sly Onyia went to court to retrieve his client’s passport.

Outside the courthouse Onyia said it was remarkable that it took an eight-hour hearing and testimony from Minnesota’s top federal law enforcement official just to get ICE to abide by judicial orders."

Woke up to fog three hours ago. Which is slowly dissipating.

I didn't realize there were so many different kinds of fog.

Why are recycle bins optimistic?

Because they’re full of cans.
