But Emacs is a battle tank or Apache helicopter or even an alien mother ship.

Emacs is such a wonderful editor. But it has a huge advantage and a problem at the same time.
It is highly efficient and highly intuitive for those proficient with it. But need time to practice and highly UNintuitive for those starting to use Emacs.
Many people need editor which can be used fast.

I was an expert on Song and Tang dynasties at certain times in the past. Then, I was a Scheme programmer for another times. Then, I was a meditator.
Then I was an expert on Psalms. Then at Tao Te Ching. Then expert at WordPress & Excel. Then expert at so many other things.
But those expertises were gone with the wind when I lost the interest on them.
Now, may be I can say that I am an expert at none.
