@kenney I've been playing it since 2017 and I abandoned it last year. The people in charge don't know what the hell they're doing, as always, and the poor developers pay the price.
The game is just an absolute mess of disparate conflicting licenses, an increasingly messy and dreadful front end, and a dilution of the player base across too many game modes.
Not to mention the rewards for playing are getting worse and worse and worse.
Game is a shit show now through no fault of the devs.

Also, isn't the whole point of a packaging system that it bundles all the dependencies you need so you just run the command line and install it?
Since all that happens when I do it is it says there were errors and it lists the dependencies it failed to install.🙄

This grand Linux experiment I am running is testing to see just how good the experience is for a newcomer.
I was writing about Linux in the late 90s for a living and I've used it of and on in the intervening 27 or so years.
I know what I'm doing.
But approaching this like someone who has just left windows and has listened to the just switch crowd, the experience is a nightmare.
I'm simply trying to install a retro computer emulator.
