🚌🇵🇹 CaetanoBus is leading the world’s first #hydrogen Bus Rapid #Transit (BRT) consortium headed by a bus manufacturer, marking its shift from vehicle producer to #mobility solutions provider. The project supports the launch of #Metro do Porto’s first hydrogen-powered #BRT corridor in Porto. Under a single-contract model, CaetanoBus coordinated vehicle supply, green hydrogen production, refuelling infrastructure, solar energy generation, depot energy management and long-term maintenance. The system includes 12 H2.CityGold 18-metre #buses using #Toyota fuel cell #technology. The integrated structure centralises accountability, aiming to improve reliability, reduce complexity and lower total cost of ownership.
