#southkorea has a reason to care about this opinion, obviously. They were on the hook for $350 billion in bribes, and Trump threw a tantrum that he hadn't gotten his first installment yet. (Contrast with Japan; I believe they already paid or started paying.) As much as the agreement made me ill, apparently South Korea was happy to have the literal nuclear option (submarines) included.
