I want to make it clear: opposing #fascism is not political. It is not a #Conservative thing, it is not a #Liberal or #Progressive thing.
It is a #democracy thing. It is a #citizen, a #community thing.
Because a #fascist government is effectively indistinguishable from feudalism. There are a few nobles, and everyone else is a #slave. We have been here before.
It is not good for anyone. There isn't a 1%. There are a couple dozen individuals, maybe.
Being #antifascist is being #human.

My car is 10 years old, and I love it. But its engine and drive train are beginning to show its age. It has had a few repairs, and I try to not use it.
The car I had before this I had for… 10 years.
The family lived for 4 years without a car in-between.
A quarter-century. I do not feel qualified to research a new 'car'. I am hoping I can make do with the eBike + transit. But I suppose I should start budgeting.

"…claiming they couldn't have "reasonably planned for a debt of this magnitude" without advance notice from the minister."
They had advance notice from their accountants they could save that much. So, yes they could.

I used to fantasize about a media room, but now I so rarely watch a video - even on the laptop. I would love to have a quiet room with excellent speakers to listen to music, but even that, I think, would rarely be used.
On the other hand, there are many hundred books in this room alone.
So A) I need more/better bookshelves. And B) I need to look into better lounging-(and cuddling)-while-reading-books furniture.

I find it bitterly ironic that they seem obsessed with the shooter being a #trans #woman, trying to blame it on her #gender.
But they do not blame the gender of all the #men who have been mass shooters. One a day, on average, in the USA.
#Canada is reeling from our second school shooting in a decade.
