Favoring the higher elevation routes means a higher chance of crossing snow fields. So traction is recommended.
Surprisingly, bear canisters are NOT required in the park, but recommended. The established campsites are supposed to have bear poles. But I tend to just bring my canister whenever in bear country.

@czarbucks@vmst.io I would start by just ripping up that piece of bottom trim (inch and half?). It looks like an add-on to block air flow, not a part of the door frame. You may be able to remove the sill as well but you might not want to.
I love how you did the stairs! Are those fancy decals on the risers or actual tile?
We finished our basement during quarantine and I go up and down our stairs a million times a day. Our HVAC guy suggested added louvers to the door for air flow but I haven't gotten around to it.

But I have mixed feelings about storing a container of hydrogen for any length of time.

Finally got to put my skis on snow this season. Had a great time yesterday. Perfect weather, groomed trails, and nearly 4 hours of solitude. This area has a bunch of lava tubes. One is mostly collapsed with these natural bridges left over it in places.
