Too late for today's lunch, but we've restocked on #instantRamen. I've been seeing mentions of a food fad that has me interested – cheesey instant ramen. I'm curious to try it.
Sounds unhealthy, highly-processed and tasty - so probably worth a try.
You boil noodles, drain, add soup packet and shredded cheese. Enjoy.
Have you tried it? Any cheese recommendations? Something that melts well would make sense. I'll bet Fontina or Gruyère would be great. Prob wrapped cheese slices are typical?

You prob know this already, but if you duck-search, you can go to a slightly different entry point at https://noai.duckduckgo.com to do web searches without AI slop dumping on you.
I see they've dressed up the landing page there! Now more obviously non-AI. I mean, it's a selling feature, so yeah, go to town guys.
(if you still google things, consider the duck search! it's worked well for me for years, and the non-ai version is a nice step forward).

@isaiah@mastodon.social that's a thing that bugs me too, but with AppleTV (the box). Where I select something with the remote, and I see the on screen button graphic indicate a click, or the LED on the box flash, indicating it got my click, but it doesn't do the thing.
To my mind, if it gets the click it should either do the function or report an error.

I've seen it a bit in Montreal, but not so much.
Several places here have changed their menu from Americano to Canadiano, due to the political issues down there. 😂
