So I'm down to two active cross stitch projects with some others waiting in the wings, and obviously the sensible thing to do is focus on finishing one of those.
Anyway, I bought "Beading with Algorithms" by @gwenbeads@mathstodon.xyz and Roger Antonsen, which came out last month. I don't intend to take up beading (yes, I figured out where to get supplies, no I don't plan to start bead weaving, honest), so figured out how to mod it for cross stitch. Each "bead" is a 2x2 square, so that I can offset the rows slightly to look like the beads would.

Just a little further with Nebamun Hunting in the Marshes, the papyrus fans are yet more obvious.

I've done another critter on the Animals Tree of Life – the earthworm!

I've not got much further with the birthday card for my sister in law, but it's OK as her birthday isn't till the end of April. It's made it onto the card now, and I need to make some colouring decisions.
I've stitched another critter! This little fella still needs his backstitch outline and label (he's a flatworm).

I continue to inch my way down this column of Nebamun Hunting in the Marshes. The papyrus fan is quite clear now.

Nebamun continues to slowly grow – the fan of papyrus on the left is now more clear, and the top of the next one is just beginning to take shape.

I've finished part 1 (of 11) of Climbing Goat Design's SAL for last year: Animals Tree of Life.
The lighting isn't great for this photo as I took it last night (and then didn't post till this afternoon, oh well), the background should be grey-blue.

I've finished another beastie, the starfish, on Climbing Goat Design's Animals Tree of Life :)
At the weekend I finished the stitching on my other Christmas project that I'd intended to have done before last Christmas! :)

I drew this knot yesterday, because I was dithering about if I need to redraw the other one.
I've got a couple of unfinished Celtic knots as well, this one might end up as a birthday card for my brother (who doesn't follow me on Mastodon so won't see this) but I'm trying to work out whether the fact that the initial isn't centred bugs me enough to re-do it or if it's one of those imperfections that make it clear a human drew this. The fact I'm dithering probably indicates I need to re-do it to be honest.
I'm making good progress on my second Christmas project, all I've got left to stitch is the rest of the sleigh (including the runner which isn't started yet) and the rest of the border. Then all I'll have to do is finish it!

Still working away at Nebamun, the top of the papyrus stand is just coming in to view on the column I'm working on, but that's still probably not clear if you don't know what the pattern looks like!
