Mark Zuckerberg donated $1M to Trump's inauguration, killed fact-checking to please him, and just made Trump's former national security adviser Meta's president. Their own researchers called Instagram "a drug" and themselves "pushers." Canada's Bill C-11 protects these companies from Canadian competition. The US has charged ZERO #Epstein co-conspirators. FBI docs label multiple people as co-conspirators in child sex trafficking. The DOJ refuses to prosecute.

Meanwhile Norway, UK, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland & Slovakia have all launched investigations or charges.

#Canada has done nothing.

But there is something we can do, and it requires public pressure.

The problem isn't "too much software."

It's who owns the software, and what they optimized it for.

Healthcare isn't worse because of software. It's worse because healthcare software was built to maximize billing extraction, not patient outcomes.

Social media isn't worse because of software. But it was built to maximize engagement, not connection.

More proprietary closed #software built for profit extraction? Yeah, that'll keep making things worse.

Sick of google slides and every other bloated presentation tool so i built a lightweight one into EduLite

Markdown in, slides out.

The whole point is accessibility and heavy caching/export-ability for offline use

Works on my local machine for my own use right now, I hope to get it easily self-hostable and deployed one day!
