@mttaggart 100%. I believe the solution to the social media problem is to remove section 230 protections from sites that editorialize user submitted content.
I wasn't in the room when it was drafted but I always took 230 as a protection against malicious actors abusing image upload on public sites. (Think open FTP servers from back in the day.)
FB picking and choosing which content to promote based on what drives the most engagement (rage) is something different entirely.
