A storm forecast, our flight cancelled. If it hadn't been, we would never have seen this serene scene.
Following the swift river upstream, we paused where the early light kissing the clouds was reflected in the icy waters.

Autumnal
Between dark clouds, the sun spotlit the serried terraces tumbling down to the fjord far below.
High turrets of mountains displayed their ribs. A patchwork of highlights slid across soft hills lower down.
Everywhere around, the soothing sound of water splashing down to meet the fjord below.

Joined mastodonapp.uk back in Nov 2022. I have a 'backup' a/c on mendeddrum.org. Oldish bloke, got to retirement age in 2024. Now retired, due to the old line about "when it stops being fun, stop doing it". Anyway, old-school coder. I've worked with everything from punch-cards to Perl, via machine language and microcode, C, C++, SQL, etc, etc. Now a happy Linux user on Garuda. Getting more radically 'left' as I get older. I despise all racists, homophobes, Nazis, etc.

2024 的旅遊攻略還沒有動筆
現在就又在冰島了
不過馬上可以筆記下來的事情是：原本 2024 有提到可以在 #凱夫拉維克機場 #KEF 外面搭乘的機場租車接駁已經停駛了，不太確定是只有冬天停駛還是未來都停駛。雖然在候車處還是可以看到機場接駁的牌子，我們還在那邊等了大概十分鐘是問了工作人員才知道接駁車已經停開。
接駁車停開就要改成從入境方向大廳的門走出去，過了一兩個路口就能看到指引路牌，其實真的很近如果一般走路大概五分鐘就能到，但是當你剛下飛機拖著行李箱跟行李時，就會覺得這個距離好遙遠。
回想起來，這次租車也沒有收到可以搭乘接駁車的通知，2024 則是在租車信件中有提到可以搭乘接駁車。
對了，冬天對於冰島是旅遊淡季，不少餐廳跟景點都會在冬天停止營業，不過這次在規劃行程的時候住宿也沒有比較好訂，也是很多都客滿，但也可能是減少供給的關係。
總之，沒錯，我又出現在冰島了，這次是兩人自駕 17 天，應該有更不同的旅遊攻略可以給大家參考。
