Loops just shipped a gif keyboard feature! It's powered by Klipy, and admins need to register and get an API key. By default, they only allow 100 requests per minute (until you request a production API key), so I added some gorgeous UX to handle those rate limits and keep users happy! #Loops #GifKeyboard #Klipy

Loops + Stronger Moderation Tools

Loops admins will soon be able to define blocked terms to reject new content, search and updates that contain any matches.

This is especially useful for fediverse spam attacks, allowing you to block specific domains or keywords.

This is pretty powerful with:

  • Search + sorting/filtering
  • Bulk Import
  • Bulk Export
  • Bulk deletions
  • Live testing

Rolling out first to the new Gif feature soon, and later to other endpoints.

I've now implemented a brand new, fediverse friendly share flow that makes it easy to share directly to your own fediverse server, or copy & search, with legacy platform support for those who need it.
