Gonna take a quick second to thank all the people out there who are responsible for growing and distributing my food and clothes, especially those outside countries with half-functioning labor laws.

The opening shot of a movie can often tell you a lot.
For example, if a horror movie opens with a shot of a house, or a car driving somewhere, its probably never gonna get much more artistically interesting than that.

Star Wars has gotta be one of the only series' where the best characters are based on vibes more than actual personality traits.
My most recent favorite SW character is Shin Hati, and when someone asks why, it's like "Um... she's cool?"
But I think that applies to most of 'em. You either feel their vibe or you don't.

Yep. I draw waa-aaa-aay more inspiration from games than books or movies. In fact I kinda wish I'd gone the indie dev route but I'm an old and dried up husk now so I can't be bothered to start learning 😄

When bands get dramatic (in-fight, break up or change rosters in a non-amicable way, sue each other, etc.), does it color your opinion of their music, or do you not associate the drama with the music?
