I first seen fight club completely alone in a theater. In my very early 20s, just happened that I really wanted to see a movie that evening and none of my friends were available so I figured I'd go see something anyways.
Turns out I was the only one in the theater.
Surreal experience.
Being that age, after seeing that movie for the first time not having really known about it... Was a mind trip for my then mental state. One should not drive under that condition. Nothing happened, but that didn't mean it shouldn't have happened.

As someone from, and to a "Senior ..." type role, currently absolutely failing to "meet expectations" in
2 mo into a new job, I can say that conditions and environment (culture and project scope, structure and architecture momentum) can make or break your "expertise".
When you're tasked for, and judged by, something thought to be small, but is in fact one of those "hard problems" and hobbled by structure, "you're supposed to be smart enough to solve this" and the existing expert only able to "well... Yeah this sucks"... Well I'm looking for somewhere new, something new.
I'm willing to lift things.
