It's why I don't care about voting record when it comes to anything but stuff that has actually passed. I don't care about committee speeches and "clapbacks" and "slams" on the news etc. I only care about actions.
I don't believe in politicians having a "change of heart" on big, obvious issues like universal healthcare, Palestine etc. I'm not interested in leaders who take a decade and massive constituent pushback just to do the right thing. Better to just replace them.

Not to be too terribly cynical, but my guess is this is the same game we've seen before from dems; the seven above play the "villains" to make sure the bill fails, giving others the opportunity to vote for it with the confidence that it won't pass.
It's still good that they see support for Israel as so toxic they have to hide their support, but I still will never trust people like Slotkin. We need to be really discerning now, 'former' zionists still need to go

Science doesn't always have immediate payoffs, that's not a reason not to do it. NASA has an extremely modest budget compared to other areas (military especially). Instead of griping about peaceful space exploration we should fix that military waste first and then see where we're at.

I get the sentiment, but Jesus did say he came to fulfill the law (of the old testament) not banish it. The old laws describe being lgbt as an abomination.
So even in Jesus's eyes there's a good theological argument that being trans and gay is still sinful, but it's simply something you're suppose to be "cured" of if you convert to Christianity.
I only point it out to describe how Christians justify this stuff and why appealing to Jesus's broader sermons isn't necessarily enough.

That's true, though I definitely would not advise this criminal scum to use aersol can extensions to try and get around this problem. And definitely would not tell them to ensure they get a kit drone with the appropriate weight capacity to carry a can.

I think Stalin was right-wing, yes. His aesthetic was nominally "left wing" by dressing it up in the symbols of communism, but he was a dictator, which is incompatible with any kind of socialist endeavours. You can't have a king and communism together.

Not to be a downer, but I always disliked the compass, you cannot have an authoritarian leftist, the two concepts are oil and water. Once you become authoritarian you cease being leftwing, regardless of label.
I think the compass is just a way of putting three types of right-wing philosophy against one left so that the "reasonable center" always includes a touch of fascism.
It's a right-wing framing device.
