Thanks to those who replied to my earlier question about cleaning solar panels! We very carefully brushed snow off one panel and one half panel (they're half-cut). The results speak for themselves today.

Will have to think about how to do this next winter in a way that's safe for us and the panels, as they're hard to reach.

Any Nordic solar panel owners here (kindly boost for visibility) --- or others living in similar conditions. Have you ever brushed snow off your panels?

We have a roof angle of 8°; snow doesn't slide off the panels. That means in February we get nothing, even though the sun is already shining pretty bright some days. Though I don't know how much energy there is as the panels are dark.

I've read that the panels are easy to damage so I haven't tried. Looking for experiences.

There's less snow this year so the solar panels have been alive for almost every day this year. But just enough to wake up the inverters. Yesterday they woke up at 9:20 and shut down at 15:45, with 10 W peak power. So basically nothing, but it's interesting that they've been awake for so long.

On the other hand, last year we got 2.94 kWh during February, this year we've gotten nothing. There's still a week to go but I'm doubting our chances.

Olin kirjoittamassa että kauas on Nebula pudonnut entisestä loistostaan, kun https://inmicsnebula.fi (ja www:n) TLS-sertifikaatti on vanhentunut 7 päivää sitten. Mutta näemmä Nebulan taru on päättynyt jo 2023 enkä edes huomannut.

Muistan vielä kun Nebula oli se kunnon palveluntarjoaja jolta olisi ainoana saanut IPv6:sta ja joskus tehtiin töissäkin projektia jota pyöriteltiin Nebulan purkilla. Silloin sai vielä hyvää palvelua mutta se katosi johonkin projektin kuluessa.

Gleam is now my second most used programming language (by typed characters). My data starts from 2016 and I've only used Gleam since 2023. That's some growth.

But if you combine all the different variations of JavaScript/TypeScript, that'll still take some time to beat.

Dearest JetBrains, could you stop fucking with your search so that people can actually find my plugin and not an unrelated one with a similar name?

First it was "Code::Stats", then you had to search for "CodeStats". Today I hear you have to search for "code-stats" to be able to find it. During all this time I have never changed the plugin name.

The plugin has an ID (net.codestats.plugin.atom.intellij), but of course that doesn't work in the search.
