The red/blue channel swap trick with colour IR photos really produces pretty results — as long as there aren't any natural objects in the scene apart from the sky, water, and vegetation.

From this angle, you can see at least four of the SkyTrain's five rails. Not seen here: this is multiple storeys under street level, and looks as if it is underground most of the time, but this is at the true ground level.

Going to kick off this account (and screen name?) with a "side" hobby of mine that's effectively been my main thing for the past while: photography.

And as far as photos to start with go, here's one I took during the May 10, 2025 geomagnetic storm. I figure an aurora photo on which I really pushed the contrast and saturation in post is fitting, given that the "main" project I'm planning on working toward is looking like it's going to be soft sci-fi (…or science fantasy, even?) in space!
