Congratulations and thank you to @privacyint@mastodon.xyz for suing Criteo, one of the major creepy tracking firms, and getting them ultimately fined 40M€.
Party's over. Claiming the data you collect doesn't fall under the purview of #GDPR because it has been "pseudonymised" was always of a very dumb argument, but now it's a 40M€-dumb argument.
