Peirce Island in New Hampshire was positively overflowing with nudibranchs last week. This image was captured with my Olympus OM-1 and Olympus 8mm fisheye lens to really show off the abundance of hydroids (nudi food!) and great visibility. This image features a pair of Flabellina verrilli that were each around 4 inches long. It was a beautiful day in the chilly water! Just a little preview from my dive at Peirce Island in Portsmouth, New Hampshire yesterday. Easily saw hundreds of nudibranchs while I was playing around with my fisheye lens and freezing my hands off. More pictures to come! Captured with my Olympus OM-1 + 8mm fisheye. #scuba #scubadiving #underwaterphotography #NewEngland #nudibranchs #olympus #om1

Black-capped chickadee on our feeder. I was sitting pretty close to the feeder, so most other birds were nervous about approaching, but the chickadees were unbothered. (The rusted metal is a slinky, which seems to be effective as a squirrel deterrent) #birds #backyardbirds #chickadee #NewEngland #wildlife #wildlifephotography #olympus #om1

These are the 'Witches’ Stairs' commonly found in old New England homes. It is believed that the design was thought to confuse or trap witches, preventing them from easily climbing the stairs due to the staggered pattern. @BiancoDavinci #witchcraft #globalmuseum #NewEngland #heritage
