This time I fear we underestimate the level of corruption under the surface in the Democratic Party. War means dollar signs for all defense contractors... and those folk own a lot of Democrats in Congress, to go with their maga collection.

I hope someone comes up with an "AI Killer" agent that I can run in both Windows and Mac... It would just reside in memory and hand AI some bogus code word or phrase every time AI accesses the proc.

I think that's what angers me... I can't turn this stuff off completely. I shut off everything I could find relative to AI, Siri, and autocorrect. Next update, they shoved AI into my 3rd party email app, and more crap into the phone. Neither that, nor the phone OS itself, can be exorcised completely.
About the time they have my blood boiling over it, @apple@universeodon.com wants to replace the entire OS in my mac studio, so they can cram MORE AI bullshit in it.
I quit microsoft and windows because of this and their propensity for breaking my machine ritualistically on Tuesdays, and there won't be another mac when this one dies or I kill it.
If I ever find a fully baked linux machine from a source capable of standing behind it and supporting it in the long run, its probably my only future option. So far, I've never seen that.

Decomission TSA and put 50,000 TSA agents in the unemployment lines so we can take their budget to feed and house the unemployed!
And OMG, what a boom our Rail industry will have when people are too scared to fly!
Our carbon footprint should drop precipitously once we're riding trains instead of planes too, so we can feed and house the poor while softening Climate Change....

Do we accept that ending to Free Speech?

I had "normal" electric stoves for 50+ years and never, not once, ruined a pot or pan by leaving it on a burner.
Got a glass-top range 3 years ago. Just incinerated a no-stick saucepan of carrots. Always nice to do when its in the 20's (f) outside and gotta throw open the windows!
Between my wife and I, that's the 5th pot or pan fallen victim to that glasstop cook stove. WTF?
And what a pain in the ass it is to keep that thing clean. I refuse to buy Black cars for that same reason... why'd I think this was a good idea?

They are largely victims. Propaganda, when expertly used, does that. And for 10+ years he has had the support of the top propaganda experts in the world, from Russia.
Over and over we see GOP politicians literally quoting known Russian sourced propaganda, as fact.
Multiple televised media outlets now spew Russian propaganda 24x7.
The country has been under attack for 10 years and we can't seem to wrap our head around the fact that our enemy's weapon of choice, are words.

I appreciate the recommendation/affirmation! I might have to put myself in the "hater" category for Liquid Glass, at least, on my phone. It sucks and makes screens confusing and hard to pick out the "glass" fields if the background is busy. Liquid Glass, in my book, is a cute pain in the ass.
