There's a pretty prominent account posting through it right now, and you need to know that even though they're making valid points, their renewed focus on white folks calling the police appears to connect at least in some way to personal troubles this person is having with an ex-. People who aren't a aware of this situation might miss the possibility that these post may be part of an ongoing harassment campaign.
I just don't know. I am not drawing conclusions. But I know things probably aren't as simple as they might look.

I only altered his web bio, didn't delete anything, but I exercised some pretty poor taste in the way I defaced it. Also I only knew who he was bc the admin foolishly divulged his identity in explaining why my personal site was missing and unrecoverable in the first place.
All the pages on this ISP were managed via FTP and you could just spam commands with automated tools until it would eventually stop denying you write access to files in other users' home folders.
I took a few pretty big lessons from that experience !

Here's a bloom from a neighboring plant in summer 2024. I took this while I was still fighting back a ton of smilax that was steadily killing everything on the property line. I didn't even know my little stumpy friend even existed when I snapped this.
This plant went bonkers in 2025, just tons of full, healthy blooms, but I've apparently and quite selfishly only saved that image as a personal memory. Likewise with another neighboring plant that bloomed with a color closer to violet. I'll do better about sharing this year.

I've been wondering since October whether the gnarled old hibiscus stump I transplanted to another part of the yard would actually survive. By the condition of the thing, I got the sense that innumerable past landlords and/or tenants have cut it all the way back to ground level whenever it would dare to show itself.
Anyway, today I finally observed new growth on it and that makes me very happy !
